IT’S DOWN TO THE LAST EIGHT IN THE UKRAINIAN CUP!

Ukraine’s premier cup competition returns from hiatus for the first time since the winter break!

Despite taking place during a period of footballing uncertainty due to a global pandemic, Kubok Ukraini will be allowing spectators! However, due to both the timings and scheduling of fixtures (midweek) – large crowds aren’t actually expected anyway…

Third tier (Druha Liha) side FC Alliance make their first ever appearance at this stage of the competition as they take on an out of form Mariupol. They’ll be playing this at the fantasic but seldom used Sumy Stadium!

This is followed by a Persha Liha (Second tier) showdown as Kopolovets and Kobin’s Minaj aim to reach the semi finals for the first time as they host last year’s losing finalists Inhulets!

Dynamo then meet with Oleksandriya for the second time in five days – having knocked out Shakhtar in the last round, this is a huge opportunity for Dynamo to win some silverware with their biggest rivals out of the remaining draw!

On Thursday, Desna look to carry on their electric form in the league into the cup as they take on the rejuvenated Vorskla. With an automatic Europa League Group Stage berth at stake to the winner of this competition – these side’s will give it a good go!

Who’s making the SEMI FINALS???

How many CUPSETS are we expecting to see???

Can FC Alliance reach the LAST FOUR???
